Best Cooling Mattress Pad

We’ve all been there looking for that extra element to add to our mattresses, our little realm of comfort, the place in which we lay our heads and escape to rest and recover. From the little egg crate pads to the memory foam pads, and then the foam mattress pad, there are an extensive amount of options available to aid in our quest for the comfiest bed around. I’m personally rocking some memory foam pads on top of one another and it works rather nicely, but these types of pads here are in a whole other league. Not only are they gonna add some extra needed comfort but they will also cool you off in those summer months. I’ve compiled a short list to get you started in your quest for comfort.

1. Bamboo Mattress Pad with Fitted Skirt - Extra Plush Cooling Topper

This stuff is a plush made rayon from bamboo, and is like sitting down on a giant cotton ball or a cloud if you will. It’s an extremely breathable and comfy mattress topper and is hypoallergenic which is perfect if you’ve got allergies, asthma, children and I suppose that'd include pets as well, because you know how people can get with their animals. Comes in about every size of mattress available and will fit up to 18 inches deep which is a hell of a nice size for your mattresses. On top of all that, there is a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee, so if you don't like it, let them know and it’ll be taken care of.

2. ISOLUS 2.5 Inch Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Now I personally love the idea of this particular mattress pad, and it isn't a heated mattress pad obviously. The fact that they would take the idea of a memory foam mattress pad and blend it with the cooling gel pad is outstandingly cool, if you’d ask me. This pad is ventilated so that there is an increase in air flow beneath you and overall, all around you, thus cooling you off throughout the night. There is even a soft cover that is removable, which would make it awesome for laundry day. Also, unlike many other companies who believe that destroying the environment is awesome as long as their getting paid, this company’s product is environmental friendly.

3. SleepBetter Iso-Cool Memory Foam Mattress Topper with Outlast Cover

To start us off, this pad is a three inch thick memory foam pad and is temperature sensitive, which doesn't mean that it’s a heating mattress pad or anything of the sort, as a matter of fact I’d say it’s quite the opposite. Made with a hypoallergenic and removable cover to the pad, this makes laundry day a breeze. The cover will go down to a twenty inch thick mattress cover so the thickest mattress will be covered. It’s a three-hundred thread count and it’s one hundred percent cotton which will make it nice and fluffy-ish.

4. ViscoSoft 3 lb. Density 2-Inch Gel Infused Memory Foam Twin Mattress Topper

This is a bit more on the minimalist side of the mattress pad, but do not be fooled by the simplicity of this little guy. He’s a nice gel infused memory foam pad, which is the best of both worlds in terms of comfort. It’s been made to increase the airflow beneath you, thus allowing your whole body to cool as you experience the heavier more durable and squishier version of all other memory and or other gel pad covers. Because of the combination of the materials they’re using and because they have added a but more in density in terms of comfort material, this pad is extremely responsive and will hold up against any other competitor.

5. LUCID 2" Gel Infused Ventilated Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Now this little guy is an nicely created little gel and memory foam comfort master. It’s nicely insulated through the entire pad, and you can see the the ventilated holes through which the airflow technology is meant to flow through. Also, because of the ope cell technology, it will not leave any lasting body imprints, thus allowing you to keep the pad even longer, and getting much more use out of it. Not only that, but there is a nice three year warranty on this guy, which gives you plenty of time to break it in and put it to the test.

Conclusion

Overall, as always with anything in life, is the whole ,’where are you at financially?’ and then go from there. There are some awesomely affordable products on here, and if you can save for a paycheck longer, there are some more expensive products known to work as well. I’m a big fan of the gel and memory foam combination, so I’d start there if I were you, and as a matter of fact, I have started there!
